    This panel will focus on some challenges to mentor relationships, such as unconscious bias, finding mentor relationships when mentors don’t look like you, whether you should be looking for a specific type of mentor, etc. Some of the topics covered will include 1) Unconscious Biases in Mentoring – How to Recognize Your Own and Overcome Others’ to Form Productive Mentor Relationships; (2) Challenges when all the mentors don’t look like you; (3) Who is the ideal mentor; (4) Strategies for overcoming your own unconscious bias to be an effective mentor; and (5) Strategies for overcoming the imposter syndrome.
