Distribution and Franchising Committee Town Hall with Former Acting Deputy Director of the FTC's Bureau of Competition
12 PM EDT
The Distribution and Franchising Committee invites you to participate in a telephonic Town Hall Meeting on October 4, at which we will introduce our new leadership and discuss plans for the year and how you can get involved. This year, we are initiating a series of Committee programs on distribution fundamentals, which will cover a wide swath of antitrust issues that relate to the distribution of products and services, including pricing, marketing and distribution, customer and territorial restraints, branding, advertising, IP, privacy, and consumer protection. As always, we welcome your ideas and contributions to our newsletter Distribution – which has won an award in each of the last three years for one of its articles – and our bimonthly e-bulletin Up the Downstream. Alan Devlin, Former Acting Deputy Director of the FTC’s Bureau of Competition, will kick off our Town Hall with his thoughts on some of today’s most interesting and pressing antitrust issues involving distribution and franchising.
