"Big data," which involves large and complex datasets generated by internet transactions and other sources, present new challenges for evaluating antitrust risk. During this Committee program, Professors Daniel Sokol and Pinar Akman will discuss and debate whether refusals to deal in "big data" are an antitrust risk, including as an essential facility, under either U.S. or European competition law. The panel will be moderated by Lee Roach.
