Use (and Misuse) of Statistical Sampling in False Claims Act Litigation

    12 PM EDT

Statistical sampling is increasingly used in FCA litigation where the analysis of the full population at issue would be too costly.  The goal of sampling is to draw conclusions about the population based on a subset of the data.  Obtaining a proper sample requires statistical expertise and careful data analysis.  The purpose of this webinar is to 1) discuss the increasing role of sampling in the FCA context, and 2) correct common misconceptions about what constitutes a "good" sample.
