Insights on Transitioning to a Non-legal Role

Committee Program Call
Program Overview: We've all heard that common refrain: "You can do anything with a law degree!" While many attorneys happily remain in the practice of law through their entire career, opportunities in business, policy, science, and other fields often can be a good fit for attorneys looking to make a change. Please join our panel of recovering attorneys who switched to non-legal roles after law firm and in-house careers in environmental and energy law. Panelists will address their decision to make the switch, challenges and rewards in their non-legal role, and advice for attorneys considering a career path outside the practice of law.
