Programmers and video providers are used to targeting different audiences in their business, but when it comes time to merge, they may not be as used to targeting different regulatory regimes. We will explore the unique interests of the FCC, DOJ and state regulators involved in reviewing media mergers. Not only do these regulators have different focuses, they have different standards and remedy regimes that have to be addressed.
