Congress and the courts have created several exemptions and immunities affecting the federal antitrust laws. This panel will exlore the fundamentals of these exemptions and immunities, and their application to the federal antitrust laws. Doctrines to be explored will include the state action and Noerr-Pennington doctrines, among others. Panelists from private practice and the government will illuminate these important areas of law.
