The Evolving Interface of Foreign Investment & Competition/Antitrust Reviews: Comparative Perspectives from the USA and Canada
12 PM EDT
This increasingly important interface has recently been the subject of an extensive task force report of the ABA Section of Antitrust Law and is scheduled to be discussed by a working group of the OECD Competition Committee in June 2016. Leading private sector and government speakers from the USA and Canada, including the co-chairs of the ABA task force report, will discuss the extent to which the factors considered by the relevant agencies are consistent/in conflict, both within and between jurisdictions, and strategies to effectively navigate merger transactions through this interface.
