Standard Setting: Key Antitrust Issues & Developments
12 PM EDT
Standard setting is essential to the efficient functioning of many industries, including those that touch our daily lives like telecommunications and networks. While necessary, the formation and implementation of standards has increasingly raised antitrust issues that courts, enforcement agencies, and companies have struggled with in recent years. This brownbag, part of the Joint Conduct Committee’s Joint Conduct Fundamentals program, will review the key issues that arise in the context of standard setting activity and the current state of play. Beyond the basics, our expert panel will discuss the impact of recent developments on the debate and likely implications as we look forward.
