Merger Processes at Regulatory Authorities: A TEI Committee Networking Event and Town Hall
6 PM EDT
Merger review processes and standards vary across agencies, and one deal may require involvement or clearance by multiple agencies-particularly mergers in the transportation and energy industries. In this in-person program, our panelists will explain the basics of merger review at agencies like the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission, Department of Transportation, and Surface Transportation Board and how those reviews relate to the work of the Federal Trade Commission and the Antitrust Division. We will also discuss ways the TEI Committee can better serve its members and the broader Antitrust Section.
