    Program Overview:

We have all read the summaries and listened to the debriefs about what transpired at the climate change Conference of the Parties in Paris in December (COP-21).  Opinions may vary about the outcome, but now is the time for considering first “next steps” towards implementing the Paris agreement across a range of key issues.

This one-hour free committee teleconference will discuss key outcomes and next steps of interest to committee members regarding COP-21.  The outcomes from this COP provide a potentially crucial inflection point for regulatory structures and commitments regarding climate change and sustainability.  A group of experts will address next steps in specific areas:  market signals; mobilizing finance; ecosystems, agriculture & forests (REDD); adaptation & resilience; and decarbonization.
