The Department of Justice and state Attorneys General are poised to review two deals that may bring seismic change to the health insurance industry: Aetna’s $37 billion acquisition of Humana and Anthem’s $54 billion acquisition of Cigna. Our panel will discuss what the review process may look like; the potential competitive impact of these deals on health care markets and the health insurance industry; and the unique issues these deals will present locally and nationally.
