1 PM EDT
This panel of U.S. and Canadian consumer protection regulators and in-house attorneys will discuss cross-border- enforcement of advertising, marketing, and consumer protection laws and regulatory cooperation between U.S. and Canadian agencies; and things that advertisers must consider when determining whether and how to advertise and market across country lines. In particular, these experts will address topics such as when and how enforcement actions arise; the challenges in the U.S. and Canada when dealing with enforcement authorities; the enforcement priorities in each jurisdiction with respect to information sharing, joint investigations, and investigation cooperation; and class actions.
