    Bringing Value to Trade Association Clients: A Primer for Junior Lawyers

    Counseling trade associations is a core function of many antitrust practices, and more junior lawyers are often brought in as part of the teams doing this important work. This program aims to give junior lawyers—or anyone wanting to improve the effectiveness of their service to trade association clients—perspectives on best practices, common pitfalls, and trends in agency enforcement in this area. Panelists include in-house association counsel and experienced firm practitioners speaking on issue spotting in review of association materials and policies; effective meeting monitoring practices; understanding the law governing data programs and standard setting; and ongoing counseling.
