Antitrust and the NCAA: The O'Bannon Litigation and More

The landscape of college sports is changing rapidly, and no decision is more important than U.S. District Court Chief Judge Claudia Wilken’s recent findings of fact and conclusions of law following a bench trial in the O'Bannon v. NCAA litigation.  While the case is on appeal, this panel will address the most pressing questions in major college sports, including:  how did college sports get to this point?; what did the evidence show at trial?; what are the NCAA’s arguments on appeal?; and, what does the future hold?  A distinguished set of panelists, including noted legal scholars and antitrust litigators, one of which was a member of the O’Bannon trial team, will explore these important issues and more.
