    Spotlight on Compliance: Canada

    12 PM EDT

In September, Canada's Competition Bureau released an updated draft of its Corporate Compliance Bulletin. The Bulletin provides what the Bureau considers to be the requisite elements for an "effective and credible" program and provides important compliance-related guidance. With an increasing focus in Canada on penalties for individuals as well as higher penalties available for certain violations of the Competition Act, companies would be well advised to review existing compliance policies. Join us for a discussion of the key aspects of the updated draft Bulletin and practical compliance tips and implications for in-house counsel.
