    SEPs Around the World

    12 PM EDT

Antitrust enforcement regarding patent holders' assertions of standard essential patents (SEPs) has been a hottopic in the US and, increasingly, globally. In the US, the Federal Trade Commission and the Antitrust Division have issued enforcement decisions policy statements, and European and Asian authorities have been very active in the last year. Our panel, featuring FTC and EC enforcers and private practitioners from Asia and the US, will explain the key issues and current developments involving antitrust and SEPs around the world.

    Moderators:

    • Hill Wellford, Bingham McCutchen
    • Suzanne Munck, FTC
    • Thomas Krmler, European Commission
    • Adrian Emch, Hogan Lovells
