    Deposition Practice: How to Prepare for Trial

    Preparing for possible trial use of deposition testimony is an important, but sometimes overlooked, component of deposition practice. This panel will cover several topics on the use of deposition testimony at antitrust trials, including: (1) Preparing a witness for a trial deposition; (2) Making the right decisions on when and how to use deposition testimony at trial; (3) How to effectively present deposition testimony at trial; and (4) The risks faced by a corporate defendants that Rule 30(b)(6) deposition testimony, including on topics like leniency applications and internal antitrust investigations, will be used to limit the argument or evidence that is permitted at trial.
