This is the second chapter in our new series on "Competition Litigation Around the World", and focuses on Canada, America’s largest trading partner. The program will provide an overview of private damages actions and unilateral conduct litigation in Canada, and critical analysis of recent developments of importance, including the groundbreaking Supreme Court of Canada "trilogy" of indirect purchaser cases, Canada’s expansive approach to jurisdiction, and the ever-widening gulf between Canadian and American class action jurisprudence.
