    Ethics and Legal Outsourcing

    12:30 PM EDT

Legal Process Outsourcing (LPO) has become a powerful tool both corporations and law firms have used to increase efficiencies and reduce cost. In order to stay clear of ethics violations it is critical to understand counsel’s ethical obligations when shifting legal work to an outside vendor, whether onshore or offshore. Our panelists will address the legal landscape as well as practical solutions for addressing mission-critical issues such as confidentiality, conflicts, disclosure to clients, billing practices and the unauthorized practice of law, and offer up best practices developed through their collective experience.
