The American Bar Association’s Section of Antitrust Law is delighted to host the Thirteenth International Cartel Workshop, which will be held in San Francisco from February 19-21, 2020. Recognized globally as the premier international cartel conference, the Workshop is presented every two years in a different major city. Most recently, the conference was held in Paris in 2018 and Tokyo in 2016. We are thrilled to be back in San Francisco for 2020. The 2020 program will continue the Workshop’s long tradition of instruction by demonstration and will feature a diverse and highly experienced faculty of private attorneys and government enforcers leading participants through a hypothetical global cartel investigation—from detection of a conspiracy to the ultimate disposition of the enforcement actions in jurisdictions around the world. In addition to demonstrations and roundtable discussions that highlight new developments in law and leniency practice, illustrate how these developments affect cartel enforcement, and expand the role of government officials in the program, the 2020 Workshop will also feature an enforcers’ roundtable. During this roundtable, questions will be put to the top enforcers from around the world. We hope you will join us in San Francisco for this comprehensive and exciting program. Please register early to take advantage of the early bird discounts and secure your seat. We look forward to seeing you in San Francisco in 2020.
