Our agenda this year will feature four plenary sessions and a selection of 30 workshops on October 25, and 26th. A half day pre-conference titled,” Legal Skills: Practical Training to Help You Serve your Clients,” will be presented by the National Center on Law and Elder Rights in the afternoon of October 24. (Separate registration required.)

For the fifth year, the ABA Commission on Law and Aging is proud to host the National Aging and Law Conference. The 2018 National Aging and Law Conference will focus on a theme of Advocating for Aging with Dignity. This year’s conference will be at the Crowne Plaza Old Town Alexandria, about 3 miles directly south of Reagan National Airport (the hotel offers shuttle service to and from DCA.)

National Aging and Law Conference is the only national conference focusing on legal issues impacting low to middle income older adults and the work of attorneys and other advocates who focus these clients.

Comprehensive written materials in electronic format are provided to all registered attendees. Continuing Legal Education credits will be available. The agenda will be posted in early May. Refreshments, lunch on Thursday and Friday, breakfast on Friday and an opening reception on Thursday evening are all included.
