    Tours/Activities

    THURSDAY, JUNE 7 | 10:30 AM | WALKING TOUR SAINT GERMAIN-DES-PRÉS

This tour captures the essence of Paris on the Left Bank: the old abbey church of St Germain, charming streets lined with bookstores and literary cafés, old squares, artists’ studios, the famous Paris Fine Arts School, the hotel where Oscar Wilde died, Hemingway’s favorite restaurant, and the beautiful St Sulpice church with the mysterious gnomon and rose line, mentioned in the Da Vinci Code. Meet in front of the Church of St Sulpice (a short walk from metro St Sulpice). Price: $20

    FRIDAY, JUNE 8 | 10:30 AM | WALKING TOUR HEMINGWAY’S PARIS

Explore the charm of the Latin Quarter with the old houses and courtyards of the Rue Mouffetard market street, the medieval city wall, and the superb historic church of Saint-Étienne-du-Mont. It is associated with many writers: Joyce, Orwell, Balzac, Hugo, and immortalized by Hemingway in A Moveable Feast and in Woody Allen’s Midnight in Paris. Price: $20

FRIDAY, JUNE 8 | 9:30 AM–1:30 PM | PRIVATE MARCHÉ MONGE COOKING CLASS

Spend the morning like a local, with a typical Parisian experience: shopping at Marché Monge. Learn how to choose the finest seasonal produce, get inspiration for composing your gourmet 4-course French menu, and select the perfect French cheeses to enjoy with your meal. After the market, you will return to La Cuisine Paris to begin a hands-on cookery class in English. Use the fresh market products to prepare your gourmet meal. Throughout the class you will have the opportunity to learn knife skills, produce pairings and put these in to practice with a mélange of modern and traditional French recipes. After all that hard work, share your handcrafted meal with wine and your fellow classmates in our lovely dining room overlooking the Seine and Notre Dame! LOCATION La Cuisine Paris, 80 Quai de l’Hôtel de Ville, 75004 Paris. Price: $230

SATURDAY, JUNE 9 | 10:30 AM |  WALKING TOUR THE MARAIS CIRCUIT 1

This is the most unspoiled historic quarter in Paris. Beautiful architecture from picturesque medieval streets to splendid classical mansions, and the lovely royal square, the place des Vosges. (Some buildings require ID) Meet at metro St Paul. Price: $20

SATURDAY, JUNE 9 | 2:30 PM WALKING TOUR THE FRENCH REVOLUTION
