    Day at Lloyd's III

New York Law School, 12 PM GMT

Advanced Registration is closed!! On-site Registration Opens at 12:00pm on Tuesday, February 7, 2017!

This is the third program in the ABA Tort Trial & Insurance Practice Section’s (TIPS’) series of highly successful panel events, designed to encourage a greater understanding between the U.S. and international insurance markets of how Lloyd’s of London works and the practical issues that arise in dealing with it.  This program will primarily focus on dispute resolution between insurers and policyholders, insurers and reinsurers, and among insurers in consecutive and concurrent towers.

The first part of the afternoon will offer an introduction to the history of Lloyd’s and the current Lloyd’s market place. The second part of the afternoon will discuss various dispute resolution protocols and mediating/arbitrating disputes between policyholders, insurers, and reinsurers.

We have a world-class faculty, including Julian Burling, the former General Counsel of Lloyd’s, Damon Vocke, the former Chair of Gen Re, Lorelie Masters, a co-author of the authoritative text on the Bermuda Form, as well as Wendy Miles, QC along with many other stellar panelists.

The Program will be capped with a wine and cheese reception sponsored by the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators.

We are confident that you will find the sessions and the quality of our panelists exceptional, and look forward to seeing you at the program!!!
