    Insurance Coverage for Product Liability Claims

    This valuable and complimentary one-hour breakfast-time presentation by leading coverage and product liability attorneys will discuss the role that insurance plays in attempting to resolve product liability claims and the key issues involved in determining whether a product liability claim is covered. Some of the topics that will be explored are:

    §  What are the most significant disputed product liability coverage issues and how are they being resolved in the courts?  

    §  What types of insurance products are available to cover product liability claims?

    §  Strategies for working with insurers to resolve underlying product liability claims.

     

    CLE Credit:

    CLE accreditation is being sought for this program on a limited basis. Specifically, the ABA will be seeking accreditation for this program in CA, IL, and NY only. States sometimes does not approve a program for credit before the program occurs.  This course is expected to qualify for 1.0 CLE credit hours in 60-minute states, and 1.2 CLE credit hours in 50-minute states. This transitional program is approved for both newly admitted and experienced attorneys in NY.  Attorneys may be eligible to receive CLE credit through reciprocity or attorney self-submission in other states.
