13th Annual Advanced Mediation & Advocacy Skills Institute

    12 AM GMT

PLEASE NOTE: Online registration is closed. You can still register in person beginning at 8 am on Thursday, October 22.

    Program Description:

This two-day interactive institute features rare opportunities to learn from some of the leading mediators and advocates in North America. Each plenary session panel features an expert mediator, in-house counsel, and a skilled outside attorney, discussing each phase of the mediation process. Small group discussions led by experts in the field follow the plenary session panels. The opportunity for mediators and advocates to interact in small facilitated groups provides a unique environment to enhance your skill, knowledge and understanding of the mediation process.

October 21 is the Pre-Institute Event, which includes the Law School Mock Mediation Demonstration at 4 pm and Reception at 6 pm. October 22 features panels throughout the day with our distinguished program faculty, the Keynote Luncheon “How Mediators May Use Instinctive Thinking Behaviors to Advance Negotiations and Settlements,” and a Welcome Reception with faculty. On October 23, there will be more interactive panels and forums throughout the day, featuring the Keynote Luncheon “Linking, Tweeting & Liking: How Technology Can Shape Your Mediation Strategy.”
