An organizational ombuds serves as an independent, impartial, informal, and confidential resource for members of an organization (employees, faculty, students – known as “visitors”) to help raise and resolve concerns while providing anonymized feedback to leadership. Thousands of companies, universities, and other organizations have benefited from this unique resource that falls outside of standard reporting structures and is, by way of an ombuds charter, independent of formal channels such as HR, legal, and compliance.
The panel will feature Sana Manjeshwar, Global leader of Chevron´s Office of Ombuds, Steven Prevaux, Faculty Staff Ombuds at the University of South Florida, Mark C. Fava, a Vice President and organization ombudsman for The Boeing Company, and Chuck Doran, an organizational ombuds and the Executive Director of MWI, an outsourced ombuds provider to corporations, universities, and other organizations.
