The panelists will explain the framework of state election laws and the current legal landscape and challenges under the Voting Rights Act faced by Latinos and other historically underrepresented communities towards providing you with comprehension to:

Recognize voter suppression, harassment, and dilution measures involving language rights violations, discriminatory voter registration and identification laws, and the undercounting of minority populations in compiling census data used to apportion voting districts.
Analyze legal challenges and provide thought leadership to correct misinformation in the 2024 presidential election.
Develop and support effective local voter mobilization efforts in Hispanic and other minority communities.
Prepare and support legislative measures that adequately address bans on partisan gerrymandering, establish uniform rules for congressional redistricting, ensure the accuracy of census data, and restore voting rights protections.
