Closed Captioned.
Today, tax transparency has become ubiquitous, replacing financial privacy. No better indicia of that development can be found then by the recent announcement by Switzerland that it is considering the adoption of a beneficial ownership information reporting regime. Apart from the current focus on beneficial ownership information reporting, there also is focus in the Enablers Act on those professionals who enable bad actors to secrete their wealth.
This webinar will focus on transparency initiatives in the United States, to include the recently released final regulations of beneficial ownership information under the Corporate Transparency Act, the Enablers Act, and how US sanctions focused on Russian elites, oligarchs and enablers intersect with US transparency initiatives.
