These super technologies decrease research time by accountants and tax lawyers, eliminate human error, and streamline internal communications between junior and senior level professionals. In addition, with the passage of the Inflation Reduction Act, the Department of Treasury has ordered the IRS to modernize its technological infrastructure, and create new digital tools to allow taxpayers to get information from the IRS instantaneously, improving capabilities and service. This panel will take a closer at these emerging technologies, how they are changing the future of tax professional services, how the Inflation Reduction Act with modernize the IRS, and how tax professionals should educate themselves about this brave new world of tax law.
