The conflicting laws from the state and federal government have raised confusion over the legality of prescribed medical marijuana use by attorneys in the states where they live and practice. This program aims to assuage those concerns by providing insight on an attorney's ethical obligations under the Model Rules of Professional Conduct, as it relates to the use of medical marijuana and providing legal counsel to state-legal marijuana businesses.
