While mediation is often used to settle a variety of disputes, as a more informal and less rule-driven process than litigation, advocates may overlook the benefits of training in mediation advocacy. Do you know how to prepare your client for mediation? What is your role as an advocate in a mediation? What factors should you consider when deciding whether and when to mediate a case?
