Former deputy district attorney Paul Greenwood will draw upon lessons learned from 22 years of prosecuting serious felony elder abuse crimes at San Diego DA?s office. He will emphasize the need for a multi-disciplinary approach and will provide suggestions for how your local legal community can bring this often-hidden crime into the spotlight.
The presentation will include information on early indicators of such abuse, methods that can help reduce the risk of becoming a victim, profiles of an elder abuser, as well as recommendations for enhancing or starting an effective team to combat this escalating crime.
