In this program, special concentration will be devoted to describe different strains and dosages of Cannabis products and factors to consider in determining whether Cannabis products may be beneficial for a person's (especially a Senior's) wellness and/or Pain Management and End of Life. We will also discuss factors to consider by Guardians in determining if Cannabis products are appropriate for Palliative and/or end of life care, including Dementia or as a substitute for Opioids or Pain Management, among others. Lastly, the webinar will include discussions regarding changing or eliminating the current classification of cannabis as a Schedule I drug.
Attendees will:
-Understand the current use of Cannabis and its use as treatment for persons with Dementia and other End of Life issues.
-Understand the current uses of Cannabis as treatments for Palliative Care, Pain Management and as an alternative to Opioids.
-Be provided information to help them determine how to gage the proper dosage, strains and available products as well as the laws of each state as to use, dosage and so on.
