Public-Private Partnership (P3) project delivery systems have been used successfully for years in Canada and are becoming more common in the United States as public bodies continue to look for creative ways to fund America's aging infrastructure. P3 projects create unique risks and contractual relationships that are not common in other types of project delivery methods. Our speakers will examine recent trends and lessons learned in P3 projects on both sides of the U.S.-Canada border, along with trending contract terms and relationships, project structure, elements of a successful project, and unusual risks to project participants, plus sample enabling legislation, risk management tools, and tips for forecasting future uses.
