    CLE 180 min

USERRA and SCRA: Legal Protections for Servicemembers and Veterans [CC]

From this program, you will learn how two important federal laws-the Uniformed Services Employment and Reemployment Rights Act (USERRA) and Service members Civil Relief Act (SCRA)-provide legal protections to service members and veterans. Participants will learn how to identity and use these protections for a variety of civil cases that may involve military members, dependents, or veterans. This program is designed for military attorneys working in legal assistance, as well as civilian lawyers whose practices involve military-connected clients or issues.
