Dementia is traumatic for the person experiencing it. It's also hard on friends, colleagues, and family members of the affected person. This program will help attendees recognize symptoms and learn about how to intervene legally should it become necessary. The program will provide insights that will help attendees: (1) recognize when another may be legally incapable of decision making and/or incapable of handling their daily affairs; (2) deal with denial; and (3) find the resources for help on these issues.
