      There is a belief that conflicts don't happen in practice much, or that certain practice areas don't see them because of who their opponent usually is. They are wrong. It's one of the most common ethics dilemmas with lawyers that are paying attention, because they can happen not just with joint clients or current and past clients, but with staff, the lawyer, or another third party with a relationship with the firm or client.
