CLE made easy
ABA members have unlimited access to more than 600 free CLE webinars and on-demand programs in the Member Benefit Library. New programs added weekly.
Closed Captioned.
In light of recent studies showing more than a third of attorneys qualify as problem drinkers and almost a quarter of attorneys struggle with depression or anxiety, the division has put together a program to help attendees recognize and cope with issues that contribute to the high incidences of burnout, depressions, anxiety and substance abuse among the profession. Speakers Lynn Garson (Chair of the Georgia Bar Lawyers Assistance Program), Bob Rubin (Peter Rubin, Sheffield and Hodges) and Dr. Elizabeth Boswell, MD, will teach attendees strategies to help combat and manage these challenges, and identify warning signs in themselves and others. Most importantly, they will share resources for limiting the risk of burnout and substance abuse, strategies for coping with heavy workloads and toxic stress, and resources for getting help.
