    You’ve seen lots of CLE programs about the internet, but this program will provide the most current ethics considerations for practitioners on:

    • Requirements for advising CLIENTS about their social media activity;

    • Ethics tips for receiving money through third party apps such as Venmo, PayPal, and Zelle;

    • The most frequent ethics mistakes on law firm websites, blogs, and social media accounts; and

    • How to respond to online legal questions in public forums

    The speakers are Wendy Muchman, Professor of Practice at Northwestern University Pritzker School of Law in Chicago and Past President of the National Organization of Bar Counsel, and Lynda C. Shely, owner of The Shely Firm PC in Arizona, representing lawyers and law firms on ethics issues, Past President of the Association of Professional Responsibility Lawyers, and former Ethics and UPL Counsel for the State Bar of Arizona.  The webinar will be moderated by Elizabeth Clark Tarbert, Ethics Counsel for The Florida Bar.
