The Biden administration has prioritized the implementation of the Clean Air Act (CAA) to better ensure access to clean air, reduce greenhouse gas emissions, hold polluters accountable, and advance environmental justice. During this panel, attendees will learn about the administration's effort to review Trump-era rules including those establishing national air quality standards and regulating greenhouse gas emissions, mobile sources, and critical industry sectors such as energy and oil and gas. Panelists will discuss the administration's plans to enhance CAA enforcement, particularly in overburdened communities, and how and whether the CAA can be used to advance the Biden administration's climate change agenda.
