The most common reason complaints are filed against attorneys is lack of communication, often exacerbated by tone, body language or poor choice of words. This webinar will build on the panel's earlier program and address ways to improve communication to help avoid malpractice claims and disciplinary proceedings by adopting new/better practices and offering new solutions for responding to clients, opposing counsel and others.

Poor communication or the lack of communication is the primary reason attorneys face disciplinary complaints. Under Model Rule of Professional Conduct 1.4, lawyers must communicate with clients and consult with them. This program will address Rule 1.4 and how attorneys can meet and exceed their obligations.
