    This program is designed to educate attorneys working with older adults about the impacts of the digital divide and isolation, to raise awareness of elder abuse, and to highlight policies and programs designed to bridge the digital divide. Policy solutions and community resources will be discussed and explored, with a focus on providing practical and effective methods of intervention and connection.

    At the end of this program, attendees will be able to:

    • Describe how the digital divide contributes to isolation in older populations.
    • Explain the impacts of isolation for older adults' health and for experiencing elder abuse.
    • Address unique barriers to Internet access for older adults experiencing abuse.
