Psychedelic substances show great promise for the treatment of major depressive disorder, end of life anxiety, treatment-resistant depression, panic disorder, PTSD, addiction, and eating disorders, among other conditions. The market for psychedelic drugs is projected to grow from just over $2 billion in 2020 to close to $7 billion by 2027. Learn about the research renaissance in this area; advocacy efforts to open access to these substances through legislative reform and impact litigation, and legal challenges to these efforts; and how to protect intellectual property in this space.
Registrants of the webinar will:
1.Become aware of modern day revival of research into utility of these substances for various conditions;
2.Explore efforts emerging across the nation to open access to these substances, including state legislative reform and impact litigation; and
3.Gain an appreciation of intellectual property and patent issues related to these substances.
