Family Advocate Client Manual Summer 2020: Vol. 43, No.1
Even when the rules dont change, sometimes other circumstances change in a way that gives us reason to think about the rules in a new or different way. Such is the case in the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic. Our ethical duties remain the same, but just about everything else seems upended. This session will review key ethical considerations for employee benefit plan lawyers in light of the challenges brought about by the pandemic, such as remote work and multijurisdictional practice. This session will also address ethical issues related to fiduciary activities in connection with benefit programs, as well as other recent ethics cases and opinions. Join us for a lively and interactive discussion with illustrations based on real-world scenarios related to ERISA practice.
Additional discounted registration fees may be available, please see the description below for further details.
