Knowing how to effectively interface with administrative agencies is a critical skill that every attorney needs in order to navigate Administrative Law. Everything from general correspondence to a formal administrative hearing can affect the administrative record as well as analysis of Auer deference, as revised by Kisor v. Wiklie. During this interactive panel, participants will engage in a mock administrative law scenario and learn the skills necessary to effectively engage with agencies. Panelists include individuals with expertise across the administrative spectrum, including agency counsel and counsel for plaintiffs who have faced these issues from the other side. Attendees will be invited to engage with panelists as they demonstrate best practice and provide tips when interacting with agencies.
