Spotlight on RPTE Fellow Sorell Negro

Being a RPTE Fellow has been an incredibly rewarding experience, and a lot of fun. Fellows learn all about the Section and the ABA, and each Fellow shapes his or her Fellowship based on personal interests and goals. In my first year, I wrote two articles for Probate & Property: one on land use and real estate impacts of natural gas activities, and another on legal issues raised by coastal adaptation to climate change. I also organized and moderated an eCLE program on land banking. The Section’s continued support and enthusiasm for its young lawyers and new members helps Fellows hit the ground running, gain leadership experience quickly, and take advantage of many terrific opportunities to write, speak, and network.
