For Young Lawyers
Section Announces its Fellow Program
The RPPT Fellows program represents a commitment by the RPPT Section to increase the participation of young lawyers in Section activities. The goal of the program is to give young lawyers an opportunity to become involved in the substantive work of the Section, to develop future leaders of the Section, and to enhance knowledge about the work of the Section among young lawyers. The Section hopes, through their hard work, Fellows will develop, into the future leaders of the Section.
The Fellowship appointment is for two years. Four Fellows are selected from the total applicants. To be considered for selection, a person (1) must have practiced in the probate (including trusts and estates) or real property area for at least one year (and be younger than 36 years of age or have been admitted to the bar less than 10 years) and (2) should have demonstrated leadership at the state or local bar level or in the Young Lawyers Division of the ABA. As part of the Section’s commitment to diversity, at least two of the four Fellows selected are minority applicants.
For the Fellows application and/or for more information, please visit the RPPT website here.
Application deadline is Friday, June 22, 2007.
