I want to personally welcome you to a new ABA year. With a new year comes a new look to our monthly e-newsletter, LawPractice.news, which brings you Section news and information. This year brings exciting programs and opportunities for you as a Section member. The Section will host its Fall Meeting at The Broadmoor in Colorado Springs in early November and its Spring Meeting at Disney's Boardwalk in Orlando in May 2005. Please mark your calendars to join us! If you are looking to get involved with the Section prior to November, I personally invite you to join one of our Practice Core Groups. We look forward to meeting you.

|Highlights: New ABA Online Member Directory |
by Fred Faulkner - LPM Technology Coordinator
The ABA recently launched another member resource on the ABA Web site. The new and improved ABA Member Directory replaces the Online Section Member Directory. This new directory provides detailed information directly from the ABA's membership database allowing members to log into the ABA Web site and view their contact information, Section/Division/Forum memberships, and even Section committee memberships. As ABA members, you can access this directory by logging into the ABA's Web site (located at the top right of any ABA page) with your member ID and password. If your listing is incorrect, you can change your contact information by completing the ABA Change of Address form. If your committee listing for LPM is incorrect, please contact Lea Rucker at firstname.lastname@example.org.
