Best of ABA Sections:  A Menu of Information for
General Practice,  Solo and Small Firm Division Members

Someone once called the American Bar Association a "factory of knowledge about the law and lawyering." At the risk of agreeing with an irreverent view, the ABA at its heart has the mission of generating information, perspectives, and tools that help members of the legal profession do their work better, more efficiently, and more effectively.

The ABA brings together the great minds of the legal profession through its Sections, Divisions, and Forums. These entities generate the information and knowledge that serves lawyers from San Diego to San Juan, from Portland, Oregon, to Portland, Maine, and all places in between. This first issue of Best of ABA Sections is sent to you to provide a quick digest of some of the best information derived from ABA Section, Division, and Forum publications of the past year.

The full text of the digested articles is available from each ABA entity, and information about becoming a member of each entity is included within each article.

We hope you enjoy this sampling of information from the publications and that some of the articles will be useful to you in your work.
